LaFarrah Brantley

LaFarrah Brantley is the Systems Security Officer and leads the Systems Security Team within Palmetto GBA.  Ms. Brantley is an experienced leader with 15+ years of Information Systems and IS auditing knowledge, a bachelor’s degree in Technology Support and Training Management and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration. She has proven experience leading the organization in adherence to security, government, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities include extensive oversight of the NIST 800-53 requirements within the company’s Medicare line of business, IS audit management, configuration management, network security reviews, vulnerability management, personnel security, security and role-based training development and project leadership.  Under her leadership, the Systems Security Team has received multiple years of favorable audit results.  Most recently, she’s worked in coordination with management in developing a multimillion dollar budget to implement the MAC ARS 5.0 control changes and other related security initiatives within the organization.
